I have a BAZILLION thoughts, let us totally chat about the Trash Court.

Yes oh my god and btw I totally stayed up last night just so I could read your ‘Bad Things Come in Threes’ series and I was loving it from beginning to end <33

I’ve mostly been thinking about some of the smaller details (since I’m still new to all this) like (I’m just gonna organize by thought)

Smith and his car:

OF COURSE he’s gotta have some muscle car like I was thinking something in the range of a Plymouth (duster, roadrunner, cuda) or maybe some Chevelle; just something loud and mean.

But also to the car in general. Kelpie’s have the ability to change their form from a water horse spirit to a human as they so choose - can Smith still do this or did he surrender that ability to tie himself somehow to this car or is it just something else entirely? I like how you went with the idea of Smith’s necklace/tie thing is his keys and I loved how when Trott took them, there was this immediate breach of trust that doesn’t seem to be mending anytime soon

I know less about selkies than I do kelpies (there’s a tiny story behind that though its not interesting so w/e) but I remember someone mentioned in this tag that the males have the ability to control weather like a storm to some extent?? That would be cool, like if the weather bent just a bit to his emotions but not too much to make it seem like he’s OP or godmodding. Like his ability with the water only worked best at the sea and not the little rivers and lakes that Smith is more accustomed to. idk I’m just spitballing with that one

His skin, though, certainly he wouldn’t carry it around, yeah? That seems too dangerous if he has hopes of returning to the sea (Does he? Does he take little pleasure trips? Why did he leave in the first place?)

Ross and the Church

Was he made specifically for that church (Made??? Born?? Came into??/??)? Were there others? Did he have a family?

Does Ross ever feel self conscious to the fact that those such as Smith and Trott don’t really have much physically distinctive about them like he does? 

Most of this feels like mumbo jumbo even as I’m typing it omfg I’m so sorry
